Attention Catchers #5: Toy Pouches from EdenFantasys

November 26th, 2009

Yesterday, I noticed new toy pouches on the review product search from EdenFantasy. It’s great to see more options for toy storage, especially when so many manufacturers do not provide adequate store. The bags, which are made by Devine Toys who also make the storage box I’ve reviewed – are 10.5″ long and 4.75″ wide and manufactured of cotton and polyester. They’re available in black or purple, both with striking pink lining and cinch closed with matching cords.

What’s really cool is that there is a plain version and also one with “EdenFantasys” in green and pink stones. I think it’s absolutely adorable (it beats the hell out of Ziploc bags) but it’s also practical. The pouches don’t seem to be available on EF’s site, yet, but watch out for their release (I know I will be)!

Attention Catchers #4: Jollies Thrust

June 30th, 2009

Thrust

Jollies is a company which I haven’t had the opportunity to try but their uniquely crafted silicone toys make me want to try. From their original firm and soft dildos to the new Thrust, the shapes certainly make you wonder. And I just read a review of the super unique Mr Man, a dildo which not only simulates fellatio on a woman but stimluates the receiver with suction. (But I don’t think my husband would be up for that, yet? d=)

What I love about the Jollies Thrust and several other Jollies dildos is they really seem to be made for people like me who hump – providing dual stimulation by rocking the toy or rocking your body against this. This is how I always use my toys anyway but many of them are just not made to be used this way (and I’ve broken several toys in the process). I’m not happy enough to adjust my style to a toy; I think the toys should adjust to me. The Thrust will not only take it, but encourages it and with a looped handle which can be used for grasping or to spit a vibrating bullet inside, it seems like a win-win toy.

Really, I bet any one of Jollie’s toys would take me for a ride whether it was the Thrust, Mr Man, firm dildo or even a cock ring.

Attention Catchers #3: Vortex Vibrations

June 24th, 2009

Vortex Vibrations

Vortex Vibrations is not a sex toy in and of itself. However, it is an attachment for your vacuum which turns it into a sex toy. That alone is something that makes me say “Huh?” because, really, I never looked upon my vacuum in a sexual way. So it’s really just curiosity which piques my interest. Of course, the website is full of claims about how this is basically a miracle sex toy and I’m always looking to debunk insane advertisements like that but it would be pretty cool if something so ordinary as a vacuum was the key to unlocking sexual pleasure for every woman, right?

Unfortunately, I’ve never heard of this toy before and it doesn’t seem to be carried with a lot of retailers, neither of which supports the claims that be redirecting suction in such a way, this toy is a sure thing. But maybe it’s just not well known.

One website which sells this toy describes using it to arouse the clitoris via suction and then adjust the slider so the “clitoris itself starts to vibrate, fluttering like a reed in a saxophone”. That does sound impressive.

Attention Catchers #2: Little Su

June 16th, 2009

Little Su

Recently, I read Carrie Ann’s review of a new toy and knew I had to have it. I seriously considered asking for it as my only birthday present from my husband. I didn’t but our anniversary is coming up! 😉 In fact, from retailer images, the Little Su almost doesn’t look that little. It reminds me of a harness-free double dildo like the Feeldoe. Thankfully, Carrie Ann’s review included images to show us just how little this toy is and just how perfect it will be for dual stimulation. She also says it’s perfect for us humping masturbators, which is what I am. It looks perfect for the type of grinding I do against toys like the LayaSpot, my husband and other items.

Plus, it comes in an awesome package. The box is one of those faux books, with a cutout where Little Su rests peacefully, until I ravage her, that is. Sporting shades of red, black and white (the three colours the toy is available in), Joya has definitely put thought into every aspect of this toy.

Attention Catchers #1: Synergy

June 8th, 2009

Synergy

I was thinking of starting a new feature here, discussing interesting new finds. Although I own a lot of sex toys, and I’ve spent a lot of time reading reviews and browsing shops online, I still run across toys whose unique designs and functions amaze me.

So what’s caught my attention this week? The Synergy-better sex pleasure system. Although, it doesn’t seem to be all that new and even boasts an “as seen on TV claim”, it’s new to me. Now, I know a lot of “as seen on TV” products royally suck but I cannot help but wonder about the Synergy because, like the much adored Eroscillator, this toy oscillates instead of vibrates (up to 12,000 oscillations per minute). The Synergy is also a bit cheaper than the Eroscillator, boasts 5 changeable heads including a G-spot accessory, is backed by Sue Johanson and can be used by either AC adapter or C batteries. I figure, if nothing else, it’s worth a shot, right?
