Ohhhhhh I’m soooo disappointed to see this got a bad review although at the same time I am very grateful that you did a review so I knew the truth before wasting my money on this candle. I would have done just that too, wasted my money, bc the look/design of the candle and the color is 100% perfect for my black,white and gray modern bedroom. But with all the other negative qualities apparnetly looks is all it would have been good for. Thanks for saving my money!

In reply to BuffaloStance. Of course people should shop around before spending the ridiculous amount of money that Lelo wants for their candles. I'd be pretty disappointed if I didn't have some dissenting reviews to read before making my decision. I was surprised to read this review, owning 2 of the LELO candles already and not having had near the amount of, let alone any, problems that the writer claims to have experienced. I appreciate the slick design of the candle holder, the scents are very nice combinations that to my mind are meant to make your skin smell good, and not necessarily the surrounding area. The melted wax/oil is a great texture that lasts more than long enough for a good rub, and while I agree with the writer that you’ll have to wash your skin afterwards, I can’t think of a massage oil or candle that wouldn’t require you to do the same after application. This being the internet though (not to mention your own site which I am always visiting and), everybody is more than entitled their own thoughts on any and every given matter and buyers would I hope have a look at some dissenting views before making their own decisions.
