I remember seeing the Anne Hooper and Tracey Cox books around a lot when I was younger, but never really looked into them. (I remember former Talk Sex With Sue host Sue Johansen insisting that every Cox book was identical, but I don’t know if that’s true of Hooper…)

This actually could have been great for me when I was a preteen/young teenager. I needed some reasonable sex ed with body-positivity/lack of homophobia a lot, this sounds very approachable, and 13-year-old me was probably the ideal target for the quizzes.

Ugh I always love your book reviews! They always get to it and tell me what I need to know when I’m considering the book. I’m glad that you pointed out slight issues with the book. It’s dated, so I probably won’t look into it, but I’m glad that it was so progressive for its time!

In reply to Desiree. I was never a visitor of Gurl.com; although, this is certainly more grown-up than that. I am not sure it's outdated enough to be harmful. Although, I meant a lending library and not a personal collection.
