Thanks for the review! I’m a fan of sexual ed literature, even if I don’t read it much, and I’m really interested in Dr. Lehmiller’s work. Statistics are easier to understand than paragraphs for me, but I also like the fact that there are conclusions too

So, this doesn't really delve into arousal nonconcordance or responsive desire because it focuses mainly on what the fantasies are and why that might be beneficial. But it's definitely sex-positive and nonjudgmental

I'm really intrigued by this, since the books I've read on the subject have inspired mixed feelings in me. I remember a British book on the subject (maybe Brett Kahr's?) that made EVERYTHING sound unfortunate (even fantasizing about a celebrity supposedly reflected something the fantasizer found lacking in him/herself--the idea that the celebrity was just sexually attractive wasn't even mentioned). Daniel Bergner's WHAT DO WOMEN WANT? has its moments (he's generally sex-positive, and some of the descriptions are actually kind of hot), but I'd like to see a revision that takes the idea of arousal nonconcordance into account. I'm trix23 in the contest widget...
